This lush green painting was inspired by my recent trip to Ireland: I have tried to capture the natural beauty of The Torc waterfall above the wonderful Killarney lakes. This magnificent waterfall cascades down the mountains, through the canopy of trees, falling across fern covered rocks. This wonder of nature was an amazing sight and I hope I have done it justice in this painting.
The artwork is on a large canvas size 90x60 x4cm, it was painted in acrylics, the wonderful green tones add a dynamic vibrancy to the painting , reflecting the Irish landscape.
