Canterbury Artist, Colette Baumback will be holding an Exhibition of Paintings in the beautiful Franciscan Gardens in Canterbury. The exhibition will run from 19th July -3rd August 2025 and is open daily 11 am –5 pm Entrance to the gardens £4.00.

The Paintings will be displayed in the recently restored Greyfriars's Chapel that is located within the gardens. The exhibition entitled “Arcadia” will feature a collection of Colette’s floral landscapes, which will complement the tranquillity of location.

I wanted to paint a slightly different autumn landscape, when the idea was conceived I didn't realise what a challenge it would be !! The vineyard. Days are turning to autumn and the leaves are changing but the heat of the sun remains. The view across the the vineyard to the mountains in the distance seems to go on for ever .
