OUT OF THE BLUE
Out of the Blue is a stunning addition to the Bluebell series, a giant artwork that captures the beauty and magic of the springtime woodlands. This painting measures 150 cm x 100 cm x 2 cm and is full of vibrant colours, textures and light effects. I used a palette knife to apply heavy body acrylics, creating a three-dimensional look that makes you feel like you are in the forest.
THE MEETING OF THE WATERS
The Meeting of the Waters is most definitely one of the beauty spots in Killarney Ireland. My father came from Killarney in Ireland and I visited many times as a child. Even at a very young age I was amazed by its beauty and tranquillity. I remember the beautiful sunlight filtering through the canopy of trees and dancing on the water and the peaceful sounds of the running river, I hope I have captured the serenity of the location in this work.
The painting is size acrylic on deep edge canvas 60x60x5cm (the painting extends around the sides of the canvas) it is sold unframed and ready to hang.
FOREST GOLD
Forest Gold is a stunning painting that showcases my passion for forest landscapes, especially in Autumn. I am fascinated by the warm colours and the low light that create a cozy and magical atmosphere. I love to experiment with different tones and textures to bring the forest to life on canvas. I used a palette knife to apply multiple layers of acrylic paint, which add detail and texture to the painting. The painting is 78x60x 2 cm and it glows with light and warmth.
CANTERBURY AT NIGHT
I sometimes enjoy painting cities, as its areal challenge to capture the different moods of the urban landscapes. From the dazzling neon lights of New York to the majestic Venetian canals. I enjoy experimenting with colours, shapes and perspectives to create unique and expressive artworks. Canterbury at Night - My home City Canterbury, is full of olde world charm: Mercery Lane leads to the entrance of the Cathedral at the Christchurch Gate. This colourful painting brings life to the historic buildings and magnificent Cathedral, which is illuminated at night.
This is an original painting 70 x50x2 cm on deep edge canvas. The artwork was created in acrylic applied with a palette knife, the painting extends around the sides of the canvas its signed on the front, sold unframed and ready to hang.
SEASALTER SUNSET
The Kent coast is known for its beautiful beaches and stunning sunsets and living in this area I often paint seascapes, I have also undertaken a large number of commissions of various locations around the Kent coast. This stunning coastline probably has the most dramatic sunsets in the country; I often travel down to the beach at evening to watch the sun go down. This painting is Whitstable beach (Seasalter) at low tide in the evening, it is acrylic on canvas size 70x50cm the artwork was created with a palette knife and is made up of multiple layers of paint creating texture and tone.
A SECRET GARDEN
I have always enjoyed exploring gardens and admiring the beauty of plants and flowers, so it was inevitable that I would paint some garden scenes in my landscapes collection. A Secret Garden is a stunning, impressionist masterpiece. This painting came from my imagination, inspired by all the amazing gardens I’ve seen.
