Golden Morning : Acrylic on canvas 100x50x2 cm. I love the chaotic beauty of hedgerows and they tend to feature in a lot of my paintings. At this moment in time when we are in lockdown, I appreciate the beauty even more. The inspiration for this painting was inspired on an early morning walk: the hedgerows were exploding with grasses, wildflowers and blossom and a golden sun was casting its rays across the meadow. Amid this chaos we are going through, mother nature is consistent and gives me faith in our future.
